I had such a fun time learning from the crew and being able to help build episodes for the lead editors for the main seasons of the series. I was one of two assistants and we were in charge of building episodes, creating shipping animatics, AAF exports for Post, and assisting in helping out with editing notes and revisions when needed.

The Fabryinth

For The Fabryinth, I handled the 1st Animatic build of this episode for the Lead Editor. The montage that takes place as Val and Holly take turns leading through the tunnels was fun to edit to due the different music styles. I tried to juxtapose Holly's Country Troll nature to Val's Hard Rock Troll nature and it made for a fun montage sequence.

THE Joy ChordFor The Joy Chord, I handled the 1st Animatic build of this episode for the Lead Editor. It was really fun to find music to fit the classical style of the episode while also highlighting the chaotic nature of Beetrollven. And Dante's humbling transformation was fun emotion beat to work on too!
